This is my first love. I’ve been in love with him since the 8th grade and I never thought my love for him would still be strong even though it’s been 7 years. He came home from his deployment in Afghanistan on Friday, May 18th, 2012, and I haven’t seen him since December of 2009. Seeing him made all the feelings come back and it was so perfect because the moment I stepped into baggage claim, he was entering too and we caught each others eyes. It felt like the movies when we went straight to each other and hugged so tight. I never wanted to let go and he whispered in my ear, “Is this real life?” I wanted to cry.

I love him and he will always have that part of my heart that no one will have. He’s going back to Afghanistan on June third and won’t be out of the army until February 2013. The hardest part is seeing him go and not knowing when I’ll be able to see him again. Before this, the last time we saw each other, I weighed 240lbs and he was a little thicker than that so seeing me, he was shocked and I’m glad he loves the new me because I love the new him. He makes everything feel so right and fall into place so perfectly.

I honestly dont know how to feel except pure fucken happiness. Ahhhh. Just 2 weeks with him and he’ll be back in afghanistan for 5 more months tho. Ugh… I wish it wasnt so hard.
